Frequently Asked Questions

You have questions. I have answers. I have compiled a list of questions I have been asked over the years regarding a boudoir experience. Questions are a great thing. Having the answers to those questions is even better!

  • Do you offer payment plans? Yes! A $100 deposit is required the day you book to secure your spot. The remaining $150 of your session fee needs to be paid in full 2 days before your session.

  • What about my products? I offer payment plans on those as well. All products will be delivered once payment is received in full.

  • Can I bring a friend? Absolutely! Just please let me know ahead of time that you are bringing a friend. All I ask is they be encouraging and refrain from instructing you during your session. Their eyes will see something different than what I see through my camera. Please trust me in knowing the posing instruction I give to you is what will help you look your absolute best! Also, I ask that no cell phone photos be taken during the experience. Want to do one better than just having your friend there? Book your sessions back-to-back so you can both enjoy the experience together! Females only please.

  • Can my significant other come to my session? Significant others that are present during session can change your overall mood and actually make you even more nervous. I want you to feel as comfortable as possible and really allow yourself to let your insecurities drop so that it shows in your photos. So, this is a Significant Other-free zone! They are, however, more than welcome to wait in the seating area outside the studio and enjoy our complimentary WiFi.

  • When should I schedule my session? If this is a gift for someone, you want to make sure you have plenty of time for post-production. I suggest 6-8 weeks in advance so that you're sure to have your product in time.

  • Where do you shoot? Most of my sessions are shot in my studio located in downtown Mt. Airy, NC. On-location sessions are available on request (additional fees may apply).

  • I'm ready to book! What's next? Once you have contacted me to set up a date, you will receive an email with a link to your personal online portal. This is where you will read over and sign the contract, and also pay your deposit to secure your date. After those two things are complete, you will begin to receive prep emails, reminders, and invoices.

  • Do you supply outfits or do I have to bring my own? I do not supply wardrobe. I want your session to be a reflection of your own personality and taste and not a mirror image of someone else's. Also... hygiene. While I don't supply the clothing for your exciting day, I will give you my ideas and suggestions for styles and options that will best suit you!

  • What about my hair and makeup? Hair and makeup is included in the session. As a professional cosmetologist with over 15 years experience doing runway, wedding, model, and special effects hair and makeup application, I can tell you that having a professional hair and makeup artist is the foundation (no pun intended) to obtaining a camera-ready, flawless look. I will personally be your hair and makeup artist for your experience.

  • Do you edit the photos? Yes, all final images are fully edited. I will never extensively edit your body so that you don't look like you. If there are scars or beauty marks that you'd like to keep, just let me know and I will absolutely make sure not to touch them in post-production. Many women like to normal edits- blemishes, bruises, scars, skin smoothing, etc. If you would like more extensive edits, we will discuss it and I can quote you on a per-image basis. Bottom line- I edit to enhance what you already have. This is why I focus on color correction/balancing, lighting, skin smoothing, sharpening, and not body-morphing.

  • When do I see my photos? 2-3 weeks after your session, we will meet again for an in-person reveal and ordering session. This is when you will decide which images will go in your album or product.

  • Are my photos private? While I would absolutely LOVE to share your badass self with the world, I respect your privacy more than anything. Your photos are absolutely confidential. If you would like to share your photos, I will be glad to do so with a signed sharing release. Also, we will go through which photos you'd like to share and where. I will never share anything without consent.
